About

Who are we?
We are a Singaporean family of 4 - 1 husband, 1 wife and 2 toddlers. We decided to take a 63 day road trip around the South and North Islands of New Zealand.

What type of travelers are we?
My wife and myself (Stephen) are seasoned travelers. We've been to America, Europe, Japan, Australia.

We are also noob family travelers. This is our 2nd overseas trip with our toddlers. The 1st was a 5 day visit to Krabi, Thailand. Their 2nd trip of 63 days is (even by our standards) probably the longest single trip we have undertaken.

The scope of the trip
This trip was about exposing our children to the great outdoors as they are cooped in an indoor urban environment in Singapore most of the time.

We decided that we would neither live like beggars on this trip nor would we live extravagantly. Sure we would go sightseeing but we'd avoid all the crazy-ass activities like skydiving or bungy jumping and stick to the family-friendly attractions.

Drop me a buzz if you have any queries on our trip!
